About Makeba T.
Welcome! I am Makeba. I am a Primary School Mathematics, Language Arts and Creative Writing Tutor. I’ve always had a passion for learning and teaching; my hope is to share this passion with students here on the Bloom Learning Platform. My favourite subject to teach is Mathematics as I love showing students how it can relate to real-world problem solving.
I completed my Bachelor of Education with Primary Specialisation at the University of Trinidad and Tobago and graduated summa cum laude. I have 6 years of experience helping students unlock their creativity and build confidence in their abilities. I believe in a student-centered approach to learning focusing on each student’s unique strengths and interests.

In my lessons, I focus on creating a tailored experience that meet each student’s specific goals and interests. My goal is to help students make progress at a comfortable pace. I also aim to incorporate targeted exam strategies and practice questions to help students build exam confidence and improve performance.
