As an experienced and dedicated educator, it is my sincere hope that I can add value to the lives of
the students I am privileged to work with on the Bloom Learning Platform.
I possess a graduate degree in English from the University of London and TEFL certification from
Premier TEFL in Ireland. I also graduated with a BA Mass Communication (Cum Laude) and an
Associate Degree in Journalism and Public Relations from the College of Science, Technology and
Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago (COSTAATT). My journey in teaching commenced as an English A
and English B teacher at Cedros Secondary School, and since then, I have thrived in various
educational roles. Currently serving as a Teacher (Secondary) at CTS College, I specialize in Office
Administration, demonstrating my commitment to shaping the academic paths of my students. Over
the years I have also gained significant experience in Creative Writing, Maths, Spanish, POB, Social
Studies and EDPM.

Additionally, I gained a wealth of experience as an ESL teacher at Open English Junior, focusing on
Grade K to Grade 5 students from August 2021 to January 2023. My teaching prowess extends
beyond the traditional classroom, as evidenced by my extensive professional development, including
certifications from the British Council in online teaching skills, classroom management, and
motivating learners, along with ESL teacher training from the University of the West Indies. My
dedication to the field is further evident in my participation in workshops and online courses related
to teaching methodologies and the integration of ICT in education. My passion for education has led
me to join the team at Bloom Learning. Together with my diverse skill set, this positions me as a
versatile educator, thereby allowing me to work with each student in my care to help that student
achieve the success they so rightly deserve.
