Hi everyone! I’m Isabel, and I'm a Mathematics and English Language tutor on the Bloom Learning Platform. I have always loved teaching and helping children to boost their confidence academically. I grew up around children and there are generations of teachers in my family, so this skill came to me naturally. I have always loved mathematics and English; these were the subjects I excelled in, especially in secondary school. While I have always been great with Languages, Math did not come to me as easily as a child. Until form two, I truly struggled with Mathematics at school, and I had to really push myself and put in extra work to become better at this subject. However, this experience has only inspired me as a teacher since I learned from first-hand experience that a student may struggle in a subject area, but with the correct assistance and positivity, they can excel and become a shining star.

For the past 5 years, I have centered my life around teaching children in primary school and it is truly a rewarding experience. My parents and tutors are always satisfied with the outcome. I have worked with many different types of students and have learned to adapt and acquire new skills to effectively tutor each student. Besides tutoring privately, I also teach at the Purple Pine Homeschool as a Mathematics and Language Arts teacher. My tutoring experience has been both in-person and in online settings.

I have now joined Bloom Learning to share my knowledge and love for these subjects and to inspire and motivate students to become their best selves academically. I would be thrilled to help your child boost their confidence and achieve their true potential.
